About Presenter

Hi, my name is Cory Glenn. I’m a dentist, speaker, trainer and tech developer. I live in Winchester, TN where I practiced dentistry for 8 years. During that time, I became known as the “Dental MacGyver” for coming up with creative ways to deliver care more affordably and efficiently. However, in 2015, I developed APL leukemia and had to go on medical leave for treatment. After a year long battle, I made a near full recovery with exception of ongoing back issues that have kept me from being able to return to clinical practice. Now that I am a “dry fingered” dentist, I’ve shifted my focus entirely to teaching and development in the field of digital dentistry. I am the VP of Technology for Blue Sky Bio, a leading implant and software company. I work with an awesome group of people and we are disrupting the dental field by using technology to make dentistry more affordable and efficient.

I speak extensively on digital dentistry throughout the world and I also operate a training center in my hometown where I teach other dentists digital workflows and techniques.

Making Quality PPO Dentures In House

March 30 2020, 1:00 PM Eastern

Course Duration: 1 hour

AGD Subject Code:

670

CE: 1

Course Description

In this webinar, I want to go over a case that I did in December of 2019 and presented online in January 2020. A friend had denture patient who had all his teeth removed in August 2019 but only had the money for one set of dentures and he decided to wait for six months of full healing. However, as the holidays approached he did want some lower cost dentures, so my friend asked me to help so that she could keep the lab bill low. I will work you through the way that I would build dentures from the impressions, to the scanning with a desktop scanner, to building a bite rims, and then to choosing the teeth and printing the denture as well as giving you the STLs and Blue Sky Plan files so that you can compare what you create to what we gave him.

About Presenter

I love dentures and I think I found my niche for dentures because they are the ultimate people pleasers. I think most dentists find dentures to be frustrating and difficult they are full mouth rehabilitations but it must be done on a budget. It is routine for a PPO to pay the same fee for a full denture as they do for a crown even though the full denture requires more appointments along and a much higher lab fee. I believe that with proven digital technology that we can build dentures faster and cheaper without sacrificing quality. My goal has been to figure out a way to build a 600 dollar denture profitably that satisfies both esthetics and function for most patients.

I speak extensively on digital dentistry throughout the world and I also operate a training center in my hometown where I teach other dentists digital workflows and techniques.
