He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Valparaiso University, where he majored in Biology and Chemistry and minored in Theology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he received numerous prestigious awards and honors, including acceptance to Advanced Studies in Oral Surgery, membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and highest academic achievement in Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity. Dr. Pernoud also completed a General Practice Residency program at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. During that time, Dr. Pernoud gained additional knowledge and further developed his surgical skills by studying and performing advanced dental and medical procedures, including methods of sedation, at both the VA Medical Center and the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Pernoud is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. He then pursued specialty training at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he earned a certificate in prosthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry. In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Kansas City, Dr. Lindman has been the Chief Resident of the University of Louisville Advanced Prosthodontics house staff and completed a comprehensive implant residency program focusing on complex implant surgery and advanced bone grafting procedures. He has extensive experience as an owner/dentist in private practice, and has spent time as a clinical director of a dental health clinic in Ohio. Dr. Lindman was a finalist in the American College of Prosthodontists John Sharry Research Competition and continues to volunteer dental care services to orphanages in Mexico. Dr. Lindman is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, International Team for Implantology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and Louisville Dental Society. Through her years of practice, it became apparent to her that patient care went far beyond diagnosis and treatment. And so it has new become her mission to integrate wellness into dentistry. She is trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and lectures on mindfulness to dental students and residents who treat PTSD patients. Dr. Asha is also a certified Reiki Level 3 practitioner (a form of alternative medicine that encourages emotional and physical healing). Among her talents in dentistry, motherhood and mindfulness, she also uses Zumba training to dance, have fun and liver her fullest life!
