About the event

This hands-on course teaches dentists how to plan implant cases, design prosthetic restorations, and perform guided implant placement using BlueSkyPlan® software and Blue Sky Bio implants.

Participants will learn how to plan implant cases, design prosthetic restorations, and create surgical guides using an efficient AI-driven digital workflow. The training includes guided software instruction and hands-on implant placement into simulated anatomical models using surgical guides.

In addition to the digital workflow, the course reviews essential principles of implant biology, treatment planning, and strategies to reduce complications.

By the end of the course, clinicians will understand how to confidently implement digital implant planning and guided surgery in their practice.

This course is limited to 15 dentists to ensure personalized instruction and a highly interactive learning environment.

Instructor

Gene Peterson, PhD(c), MS, CDT

Gene Peterson is the Director of Education at Blue Sky Bio, LLC, where he leads educational programs focused on digital dentistry, implant workflows, and advanced treatment planning using modern software and guided surgical technologies.

A Certified Dental Technician (CDT), Gene holds a BS in Biology and an MS in Biology with a concentration in Human Anatomy and Physiology, and is currently completing his PhD dissertation on digital dentures.

He owned and operated a full-service dental laboratory in Arizona for more than 18 years and has spent over 35 years working in digital dental technologies, materials, and laboratory workflows. Gene has authored multiple publications and lectures internationally on both clinical and technical aspects of dentistry.
